“Lake Keith,” as the lake had been known since E.L. Keith purchased the property in 1947, was once a resort with a skating rink, restaurant, cabins, swimming pool, and trout hatchery. This photo, taken in the mid-1950’s, shows just how popular this place used to be. Families picnicked on the green lawn. Fishermen and paddlers used the lake. Vacationers came from all around to find leisure at Lake Keith.
